Broken link in app store CCL's help

Reported by: bhyde Owned by: rme
Priority: critical Milestone:
Component: IDE Version: 1.7

The index page for the help window includes a broken link, e.g. the one labeled "help." Here's a bit of that file, the problem is that last line shown.

Aren't you glad you waited so long to see this window ?

The OpenMCL Doc directory is available here.

It looks like the doc dir is missing, and there are too many ..'s

There are several problems here:

 • We haven't been calling ourselves "OpenMCL" for a while now.
 • A broken link is obviously undesirable.
 • Even if the link weren't broken, the available help is either outdated or not very, er, helpful.

Until we decide to come up with some decent Apple Help content, I think the best thing to do for now is to get rid of our help book content entirely. This will cause selecting the "Clozure CL Help" menu item to display an alert that says "Help isn't available for Clozure CL." Not great, but it's better to show nothing than to show something that's broken and useless.

I think a "Clozure CL Manual" item on the help menu would be a suitable addition, and I will add that.
