#494 closed enhancement (fixed)

Listener window position

Reported by: josa1965 Owned by:

Description

To have to replace the Listener window every time is time consuming. We have control over the rest of the windows, that are saved with their sizes and positions. Let's finish this up with the Listener window as well.

The position and size of the initial listener have been saved (in the trunk) since r12088.

Replying to gb:

It is only the first initial, Listener window that has its position saved. When you open a new Listener window it has another default position that is ≈ center towards the bottom.

As of r12125 in the trunk, all listener windows should remember their size and position. (This basically means that if the initial listener named "Listener" is closed and a new one - also named "Listener" is created, the new listener window will have the same size/position as the first.)

The first time that one updates the IDE to a revision >= 12125, any saved window position/size info for the initial listener will be ignored; the old scheme isn't supported.
