Doing a full rebuild of the x86/32 port revision 11602, I get this:

If you do a second rebuild (after the change is in place) and still get the warning, then it's likely a bug.

If you don't, it's expected behavior and especially common in the trunk. See

http://trac.clozure.com/openmcl/wiki/UpdatingFromSource and http://trac.clozure.com/openmcl/wiki/TrackingTheTrunk

I just did a second rebuild; I got a warning (as I would expect to) on the first rebuild but not on the second.

The options here would seem to be:

1) Never change anything in the lisp 2) Change things pretty regularly (especially in the trunk), and simply accept that certain kinds of warnings are inevitable when trying to bootstrap new sources with a slightly older lisp. 3) Generate new images any time a change is made, no matter how trivial.

We've generally opted for option (2); the other options don't seem viable.
