#14 closed enhancement (wontfix)

Extend Trac with Syntax Highlighting

Reported by: bfulgham Owned by: gb
Priority: minor Milestone:
Component: project hosting Version: unspecific

Description

In addition to the other useful Trac plugins recently added, it would be helpful to use the Pygment syntax highlighting so that source code could be displayed with some color. Note specifically the SchemeLexer?. I think that adding "*.lisp/*.lsp" to the Filename patterns for this tool would get pretty close.

  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

The bug page for the plugin suggests that there may be some issues with this plugin and some versions of Trac, and that the plugin may interfere with some of the syntax coloring already done by other Trac components.

I haven't seen replies to those bug reports, some of which are quite recent.

I'm tempted to want to hold off on installing this until those issues are addressed.

Actually, it's probably not even necessary. See http://trac.clozure.com/openmcl/wiki/TracSyntaxColoring; enscript and something called "SilverCity?".

Could we perhaps activate the enscript support?

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
