resizing editor window shouldn't scroll content

Description

When an editor window is resized, the text is scrolled so that the insertion point is in the middle of the window. The text that is at the beginning of the window should remain at the beginning of the window.

FWIW, this seems to only happen if the insertion point was visible before resizing: if one scrolls so that the insertion point is not visible, resizing the window doesn't seem to change the text view's origin.

Note that TextEdit? seems to behave the same way, as, I assume, do lots of other Mac applications.

I'm not sure that I'd characterize this as "major".

  • priority changed from major to minor.

I haven't really been paying attention to priority. I guess I should start. Change priority to minor.
