Apropos dialog not windoid

It would be useful to be able to view Apropos dialog listings when not in CCL. Ie. Run Apropos and now move outside CCL and the Apropos windoid disappears so the listing can't read.

A check box in the Apropos dialog to toggle it between a windoid and a conventional window could be ideal.

I have never liked windoids in general, and I agree that the windoid behavior of disappearing when you switch to another application is not useful.

On the other hand, I don't think we should clutter the dialog with a check box to change it from a windoid to a conventional window and back. That should either be a global preference (applied to all the tool windows) or it shouldn't be a settable preference at all. I'd actually prefer the latter. People can always recompile the IDE if they want a different window type.
