control-w broken in reverse incremental search
|Reported by:||alms||Owned by:|
When doing an incremental search, control-w is supposed to add the remainder of the word at the current search location to the search. This works when searching forward, but not when searching backwards.
- open the file l1-streams.lisp - go to the end of the buffer - type control-r d e f control-w - The minibuffer (is that what we call it?) at the bottom of the window says "Failing Reverse I-Search: defdefmethod"
Try the same thing in Emacs to see the correct behavior.
