Description

hi i tend to prefer ccl over other cl implementations. but, when i decided to use it as a web application programing tool recently on a lisp-based http server, like cl-http or hunchentooth, i discovered these http servers does not support ccl, many implementations have ports but ccl not. i am a macintosh and debian user.

Hunchentoot certainly runs on CCL. Follow the directions to install Quicklisp at  http://www.quicklisp.org/beta/, and then you can load Hunchentoot with (ql:quickload :hunchentoot).

As for cl-http,  http://www.cl-http.org:8001/cl-http/ says that there's a development version that runs in CCL. The host  http://lispm.dyndns.org says that it is running cl-http on ccl. I myself haven't looked at cl-http in a long time, so I don't know what's involved in installing it.

Please feel free to use the mailing list (openmcl-devel@…) if you have questions about getting third-party software running in CCL. I'm going to close this ticket because it's not really about a bug in CCL.
